Banksy

Banksy is a mystery. I came across his graffiti a few years ago on some obscure blog (total underground revolution style). Reasons why I think Banksy's work is cool:

1. It strikes a chord- in one image, he captures an entire thought or feeling
2. It speaks to the ailments of dystopia
3. He playfully mocks the ineptitude of government
4. It showcases the horror of war and politics
   

Now Banksy is big news. I think he recently had an art exhibit. Now that he's mainstream he can pass into the realm of cool for the masses, so enjoy.
