Perey does a good job outlining the issues surrounding enterprise streaming. Look streaming is a means to an end, the key driver in this space is application, or 'the need' to deliver content to the desktop. Till now bandwidth was held hostage by corporate IT staffs, even now this mindset is hard to overcome. With tons of excess bandwidth, this delivery mechanism is gaining greater acceptance.
Maybe that's why Sonic Foundry is hot!
