The Great Offshore Debate of the New Millenium. In the 70's with improvements to manufacturing processes, the big 'scare' was that Robots will replace all workers. While that happened to a certain degree, the true information worker was able to upgrade his skill set, and retain employment. Now in true Darwinist/Capitalist spirit, isn't that the whole point? Survival of the fittest. What makes me sick is the Spin Factor. Fellas the economic recovery will be gradual, no the NASDAQ won't hit 5000 tomorrow. What people have to realize is that outsourcing and offshoring osmosis of jobs will have major negative effects on the organizations engaged in these practices. Bubblegeneration called it massive organizational blindspots in critical areas. I agree.
