Museums
One of my favorite scenes from (one of my favorite movies) Ferris Bueller's Day Off, is when the gang is staring at paintings at the Art Institute of Chicago. Having lived in Chicago, I've actually done the same (including going to the top of the Sears Tower, planting my forehead against the window, and looking straight down- very fun).
Nevertheless back to the museum- what a great way to spend an afternoon- it's like you're becoming smart by breathing the museum air, and by embracing the energy of great talent that came in the centuries before you. Having said that, you must do this at least once in your life:
- Go to the Louvre (that's in Paris, which is in France)
- Find 'The Raft of the Medusa' by Théodore Géricault
- Stare
