Date Format

In the US the date format is month-day-year. Now the US does everything different compared to Europe, and I'm okay with that. It was all about sticking it to the former-colonial masters (the Brits) every way possible, which in a way is nice. Left hand drive cars, light switches flipping up, rejecting the metric system, etc etc. I don't, however, agree with the date format: day-month-year ascends very nicely. For this purpose, we will pay homage to the Old Country, and use this format. Please don't ask me about it again, ever. I will admit that month-day-year sounds classier when you say it out loud e.g. April 21st 2007 vs. 21st of April 2007. However if you're reading this, or any, blog out loud, that's just weird. Why would you do that?
